I tried Proton for a couple of months. The encryption and privacy features are strong, but the connection sometimes drops without warning. I appreciate their no-logs policy and the open-source code base, but the app interface feels a little clunky compared to other VPNs I’ve used. On the plus side, the customer support team replied quickly to my questions. Not a bad service, just could use some polish.

I switched to Proton about six months ago and haven't looked back. Privacy features feel strong and I like that the app doesn’t log my traffic. Speeds have been pretty fast on the US servers so streaming Netflix in HD works flawlessly. Customer support was helpful when I had questions about setting up split tunneling.

Proton VPN provides decent security features, but I ran into some issues with the mobile app crashing occasionally which was frustrating during work calls. Also, the server list could be more extensive, especially for European locations. Their no-logs policy is a plus and I’ve never had a leak detected during tests. The split tunneling feature is handy but took a bit of fiddling to configure right. I trust it for basic privacy but hope they fix stability in the next update.

The app design is clean and navigation is intuitive, which makes switching servers very easy. I like the automatic kill switch it saved me during one unexpected WiFi drop.
