Highly practical but some surprises
I turned to Zocdoc when I needed a quick physical exam before a trip. The platform let me filter by doctors who accept my new insurance and showed open slots for the next day, which was a relief. However, when I arrived at the clinic, the receptionist said my insurance hadn’t been updated on their end, so I had to pay upfront and get reimbursed later. It was a bit stressful but the Zocdoc team helped me with documentation for the claim. Despite that, I appreciate how much it speeds up finding and booking appointments without hours on the phone.
