Mixed experience with Sentry support and features
We adopted Sentry to catch production bugs and generally it’s fine. The error aggregation works well, but sometimes the notifications flood us during high traffic periods which makes it hard to act fast. Also, integration with our CI pipeline took longer than expected because some setup steps weren’t very clear. On the bright side, once configured properly, the detailed breadcrumbs and release tracking have helped us stabilize app performance considerably.
Decent monitoring but could improve UX
Sentry provides detailed crash reports that help us fix bugs faster. That said, the interface can feel cluttered especially when you’re juggling multiple projects. I wish the mobile app was more responsive too because I often need quick updates while on the go. Despite these, the event grouping and environment filtering save me a lot of manual work, so I keep coming back.
Useful but needs better docs
The tool is solid for error tracking and gives good real-time feedback. However, I struggled a bit with customizing alerts exactly how I wanted because the documentation on alert rules was vague. Support helped after a couple of messages though.
