We adopted Sentry to catch production bugs and generally it’s fine. The error aggregation works well, but sometimes the notifications flood us during high traffic periods which makes it hard to act fast. Also, integration with our CI pipeline took longer than expected because some setup steps weren’t very clear. On the bright side, once configured properly, the detailed breadcrumbs and release tracking have helped us stabilize app performance considerably.

Great tool but pricing confusing
I've been using Sentry for about six months now to monitor our web app. The error tracking is pretty solid and helps us catch issues before users complain. The only thing that throws me off is their pricing tiers, which aren't super straightforward, so budgeting is a bit tricky.

Super reliable error tracking
Been using Sentry for half a year, and it never misses a beat. Love how quickly it alerts me about crashes.

Decent monitoring but could improve UX
Sentry provides detailed crash reports that help us fix bugs faster. That said, the interface can feel cluttered especially when you’re juggling multiple projects. I wish the mobile app was more responsive too because I often need quick updates while on the go. Despite these, the event grouping and environment filtering save me a lot of manual work, so I keep coming back.

Saved our app from major bugs
Our dev team switched to Sentry last year and it's been a big deal. During a major rollout last November, Sentry’s real-time alerts helped us spot a critical bug within minutes, avoiding what could have been a disastrous crash. The detailed diagnostics and stack traces are super thorough, making it easy for our engineers to pinpoint and fix errors quickly. Plus, the integrations with our existing tools like GitHub and Slack streamline our workflow a lot. Definitely recommended for any team serious about app stability.

Mostly good but some quirks
Sentry's dashboard is intuitive and the alerting works well, but sometimes the grouping of errors feels off and I get notified about the same issue multiple times. Wish the UI was a bit faster on loading reports.

Useful but needs better docs
The tool is solid for error tracking and gives good real-time feedback. However, I struggled a bit with customizing alerts exactly how I wanted because the documentation on alert rules was vague. Support helped after a couple of messages though.

Not what I expected
I was really hoping for smoother integrations but ended up spending hours just figuring out how to link Sentry with our error logs. Also, the dashboard felt overwhelming and the support response was slow when I asked for help. Kind of a letdown considering the hype.

Detailed diagnostics that really help
I use Sentry at work to track exceptions across multiple apps. The stack traces and user context are invaluable, plus their SDK setup was pretty straightforward even for our complex React Native project.

Error tracking made simple
We switched to Sentry from another tool and the difference is clear. The real-time alerts and user impact metrics help prioritize fixes better. Plus, the open-source SDKs mean we can customize how much data we send without bloating our app. Definitely recommend for any dev team wanting to boost stability.

Good but needs minor tweaks
Alerts sometimes send delayed.

Solid monitoring with small annoyances
The error grouping is spot on and the release tracking has saved us from pushing broken builds twice now. Just wish the alert customization was a bit friendlier for non-experts. Still, can’t complain much for the price.

Great insights, saved us tons of time
Sentry’s performance monitoring helped us pinpoint slow database queries within minutes. The integration with Slack notifications keeps the entire dev team in the loop, which is super handy during tight releases.
