I subscribed to CuriosityStream last year because I wanted an educational alternative to usual streaming services. Most of the time, the video plays without buffering and the topics are exactly what I love. One time, though, I had a payment problem where my card was declined even though everything was fine with my bank, and support took over a week to sort it out. Luckily, they refunded the charge, but that delay was annoying. Despite that, the depth of content and the quality still make it worth it for me, especially the tech and nature documentaries which are superb.

Fantastic doc selection
CuriosityStream has some of the best science and history documentaries I've seen. I especially like their original productions that aren't available anywhere else. For the price, it's a great value and perfect for learning on weekends.

Solid streaming for documentary fans

Reliable educational content but payment glitch
I signed up hoping to get access to a decent library of documentaries and for the most part, I’m happy. The variety in topics like tech, space, and society is impressive and really sparks my interest. However, I had an issue where my subscription didn’t renew properly and I lost access for a few days without notification. Customer support eventually fixed it but it took longer than expected which was a bummer since I was in the middle of a series. Still, the detailed content and lack of annoying ads make me stick around.

Great app, lots to explore
The navigation is super easy and I discovered many doc series I wouldn't have found otherwise. Their new releases section keeps me hooked every month. Only issue is that there are limited subtitles for non-English content, would be nice to have more options.

Decent content, but app glitches
