Not reliable for current listings
Tried using PadMapper for a rental and ended up wasting time with several unavailable places. Their update system needs work.

Decent platform but frustrating delays
I used PadMapper when relocating to Boston and it had a lot of options in my desired neighborhoods. Unfortunately, some listings were removed after I'd contacted landlords, which wasted my time. Also the messaging feature crashed a few times during important conversations. On the plus side, their price heatmaps helped me figure out affordable areas quickly. Not perfect but still useful.

Mixed experience overall
Found some decent listings but a lot were outdated or taken already. Wish they updated more often. The map interface is nice though.

Helpful but needs better updates
I started using PadMapper to find a new apartment in Chicago. The interface is clean and the filters helped narrow down options, but some listings turned out to be unavailable or falsely advertised which was frustrating. I contacted support twice about this and got polite responses but no real solution. They should definitely improve how regularly they verify listings. Still, it saved me some time compared to browsing multiple sites.
