I’ve been using IHG Rewards for a few years now and my recent stay at their upscale property downtown was fantastic. The points redemption process online was quick and I got a suite upgrade without extra charges. The hotel staff, especially the front desk manager Lisa, went above and beyond to accommodate my late arrival. Also enjoyed the free breakfast buffet which had a surprisingly wide variety. Definitely planning to book again!

Efficient booking, nice stay
Booked a last-minute trip via IHG’s site, and it was pretty straightforward. The hotel was clean and the staff attentive, though the Wi-Fi speed was a bit slow. Still, overall a good experience for a weekend getaway.

Average service and amenities
I picked an IHG property for a conference stay hoping for reliable service. The check-in was fine but the gym was closed for maintenance without prior notice which was annoying. Also, the room air conditioning was noisy at night. The breakfast options were limited and the cafe crowded in the morning. Support didn’t offer any compensation or apology when I mentioned these issues. So, I’d say it was an average stay, nothing special.

Good overall but app could improve
I booked my room through the ihg.com app and while the interface is user-friendly, I noticed a glitch where my reward points didn’t update immediately after checkout. Customer service responded after about 24 hours which is slower than I hoped. The hotel itself was nice and clean, and the location was perfect for my city tour. I’d say the app needs a little polish but the hotel stay was comfortable enough to forgive that.

Mixed feelings about my recent stay
