I really like how easy it is to find cars nearby with Getaround and the fact that the keyless entry works well most of the time. However, the extra insurance costs and cleaning fees can catch you off guard if you don't read the fine print carefully. I rented a sedan last month and the base rate was reasonable, but by the final bill I paid 30% more than I expected. Still, the convenience is hard to beat for quick trips around town.

Used Getaround for a 3-day trip and found a nice SUV close by. The pickup process was super easy with the app unlock feature, though the app lagged a couple times which delayed opening the car by a minute or so. Customer support was responsive when I asked about extending the rental by a few hours. Overall a solid option when you want to dodge rental counters.

I rented a compact car for a weekend trip through Getaround and the pick-up process was pretty straightforward. However, the app crashed a couple of times when I tried to extend my reservation, which was a bit frustrating. Other than that, the car was clean and ready on time, so I’d use them again but hope they fix these bugs soon.
