Solid prepaid service with some quirks
I’ve been a Cricket Wireless user for almost two years. What really drew me was the straightforward prepaid plans that don’t tie you down with contracts. The coverage in my area is generally excellent, and I enjoy the nationwide network access. Sometimes the app can act up and won’t show my data balance correctly, which is annoying, but a quick restart usually fixes it. Customer support was responsive when I reached out about billing issues, so I feel they care about their customers.

Convenient but data throttling noticed
I like that Cricket offers no-contract plans and their pricing is very competitive. The coverage in San Diego is reliable for calls and texts, but I did notice that after using my monthly data allotment, the speed throttled down significantly, which made streaming frustrating. Support was helpful when I asked about that, though, explaining their policies clearly.

Affordable plans with decent coverage
