Good flight with minor delays
I flew from Chicago to Tokyo last month with ANA. Boarding was pretty smooth, but the plane left about 20 minutes late. Despite that, the in-flight service was friendly and the entertainment system had plenty of options. a solid experience.
Decent, but not exceptional
I had a flight with ANA Last month from Atlanta to Tokyo. The boarding process was okay but felt a bit chaotic with the late announcements. The seat was comfortable enough for the long flight, but I noticed a few cracks in the entertainment system screen at my seat. Food was average and the cabin temperature was a bit too warm for my liking. Crew were professional but didn’t go out of their way to engage passengers much. I think ANA is reliable but not really outstanding compared to other major airlines I've flown recently.
Always smooth and reliable
I fly ANA twice a year and they never disappoint.
Comfortable seats but slow boarding
ANA's seats on my Los Angeles to Narita flight were comfortable enough for the 11-hour journey. The food quality was decent too. However, boarding took longer than expected and a few passengers were confused about the gate change. This caused some frustration but the crew handled it well.
Great legroom
Legroom was really good on my ANA flight.
Unforgettable delay but kind crew
Booked a business class ticket for my trip to Osaka with ANA. Sadly, our flight got delayed for over two hours due to technical issues, and it was quite frustrating since connecting flights were tight. The crew kept us updated and offered sincere apologies, plus snacks during the wait which made things bearable. Check-in staff was also helpful when I needed assistance rebooking the connecting flight. Despite the hiccups, the overall quality of the cabin and amenities still impressed me once onboard. I’d fly ANA again but hope for fewer delays next time.
Nice cabin crew, could improve meal choices
I took ANA from JFK to Tokyo last week. The cabin crew was attentive and polite, which I appreciated after a delayed departure. My only gripe was the limited vegetarian meal option, which made it a bit tough for my wife. Otherwise, the seats and entertainment were up to standard.
Frustrated by lost luggage and ticketing snafu
My trip with ANA started off badly when my checked bag didn’t arrive with me in Tokyo, and it took three days to get it back. The customer service was slow to respond, and it felt like I was passed around between departments. On departure day, their online check-in system crashed, forcing me to stand in a long line at the airport just to print my boarding pass. All that stress overshadowed the nice snacks and comfy seats on-board. Definitely not the smooth experience I expected given the ticket price.
Mixed feelings on my ANA experience
I flew ANA from Boston to Tokyo a few weeks ago. The in-flight Wi-Fi was spotty and sometimes disconnected right when I needed it most. On the bright side, the flight attendants were very attentive and always ready to help with my carry-on troubles. The plane was pretty clean too, which I appreciated on such a long haul flight. Still, inconsistent service quality leaves me unsure if I’d book again soon.
Baggage delay again
Baggage took hours to arrive, quite annoying.
Smooth trip with great service
My ANA flight from Portland to Narita last December was a real pleasure. The boarding was efficient, and the cabin crew made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the 10-hour journey. I especially liked the responsive in-flight service and the delicious Japanese cuisine offered onboard. The entertainment system was updated and had a great selection of movies and shows which helped the time pass quickly. Can definitely recommend ANA for international travel.
