Easy transfers with a few glitches
Using Wise has saved me loads in transfer fees compared to my bank. Setting everything up was painless and their app is clean and easy to navigate. But I did have one transfer stuck in limbo for almost two days without explanation which was frustrating. Support got back to me after I chased but I wish they’d be more proactive with notifications. Still, the overall experience has been positive enough to keep using them.

Solid for personal and business
I signed up for Wise to manage payments to my contractors overseas and it’s been a pretty reliable solution. The transparency in fees and the real exchange rates means no surprises, which I appreciate. The only weird thing was a delay on one transfer during a bank holiday, but their support team was clear and polite about it. I also like that I can track payments easily in the app and the multi-currency wallet feature is so handy for my trips too.

Great rates but wait times vary
I’ve been using Wise mainly for my travel expenses and paying for rentals abroad. The exchange rates beat traditional banks by a lot and it’s neat to have a borderless account that supports multiple currencies. That said, sometimes the transfers take longer than expected, especially if it’s a weekend or a holiday. The support chat helped clarify things quickly but I still had to wait an extra day to see the money in my recipient’s account. So just keep that in mind if you’re on a tight schedule.

Mostly smooth but a hiccup
I use Wise for sending payments to my freelance clients abroad and honestly, it’s been pretty hassle-free. The currency conversion rates are fair and the app interface is straightforward. However, last week I experienced a delay with one of the transfers which usually completes within hours. Customer service was responsive but it took a day to sort out. Hope they improve on that because everything else has been solid.
