Good network but pricey

Mixed experience with customer service and billing
I switched to Verizon last year because of their advertised network reliability, and while the signal is excellent at home and work, I had some frustrating moments with billing. There was an unexpected charge on my first bill, which took a couple of calls to customer service to sort out. The reps were polite but sometimes seemed unsure about promotions. On the plus side, the mobile hotspot feature on my plan works great during my road trips, and the app notifications keep me updated on my usage, which helps avoid surprises now.
