This spring, I ordered the Resolve 2 jacket for some light hiking and day trips. The waterproof shell performed well during a downpour last week, totally kept me dry. The only hiccup was that the zipper got a bit stuck after a couple of uses, which was annoying but manageable since I lubricated it. Customer support was helpful when I emailed them, offered tips and even a replacement option if it got worse. I’ll keep using it for sure, just hope the zipper holds up long term.

I’ve always loved The North Face for their outdoor gear but recently needed some warmer layers for everyday winter use. I bought their Nuptse jacket and instantly fell in love with how it looks and feels. It’s warm without being bulky and fits perfectly under my rain shell for those wet, cold days. Even caught compliments from coworkers about how stylish it is. Plus, the fabric holds up well against stains and moisture, which is great since I’m often on the move in unpredictable weather.

Got the Apex Flex jacket last month, love the material and warmth. However, the sizing chart was a bit confusing, ordered my usual size and it was slightly tight around the shoulders. Still wearable but wished it fit better.

I’ve relied on The North Face gear for several years, but recently decided to replace my worn-out mountain boots and got the Ultra Fastpack II. The boots are solid and durable, handling rocky trails without any discomfort. Tried them on a 12-mile hike in the Rockies last weekend and no blisters or sore spots whatsoever. Also grabbed a waterproof jacket and the combination worked perfectly through chilly winds and a bit of drizzle. Only downside was that the shoes took a little breaking in time, but that’s expected for heavy-duty hiking footwear.

The quality of the hiking boots I got was impressive and they held up after multiple rough trails. That said, the price seemed a bit steep for my budget, I was expecting something more affordable for casual hikers.

I bought the Borealis backpack for my camping trips and it’s been fantastic. The compartments are really thoughtful for outdoor gear, and it’s comfy on long treks. Plus, the waterproof material saved my stuff during a surprise rainstorm last weekend.

I picked up the Thermoball Eco insulated jacket from The North Face for my fall hikes. The jacket kept me warm during chilly mornings but didn't overheat in the afternoon sun, which was exactly what I needed. The breathable fabrics really made a difference on my 10-mile trail.
