The platform is quite easy to use and the variety of communication methods is great. I had some trouble with the subscription renewal process and customer support wasn’t super quick to respond. Aside from that, the therapy itself has been helpful for my depression.

Great to chat with my therapist without waiting weeks.

I was pretty nervous about starting therapy but Talkspace made it really approachable through their messaging feature. I could type out my thoughts whenever I wanted, which felt less intimidating than face-to-face at first. Over time, I scheduled video sessions and that helped deepen the connection with my therapist. One tricky thing was the occasional confusion over billing dates and how many messages I could send per week. Customer support did resolve it after a couple of emails though. This service has been a key part of helping me handle stress during a rough year.

I’ve been on Talkspace for a few months now and the accessibility is wonderful; being able to send texts anytime really works with my hectic schedule. That said, the app can be buggy I had to reinstall it a couple of times when messages wouldn’t sync properly. The therapists themselves are responsive and empathetic which makes a big difference. For people new to online therapy, this platform is a solid option if you’re okay with some tech hiccups.

I like that Talkspace offers both messaging and video sessions which fit my schedule well. However, sometimes my messages to my therapist took more than 24 hours to get a response which was a bit frustrating. Still, overall the sessions helped me manage my anxiety better.

The therapy was okay but it sometimes felt impersonal with just messaging. Also I had a technical issue where my video session dropped midway and support took a while to respond. On the plus side, the therapist I was assigned was professional and really listened. I’m still not sure if this format fits me long term but it helped in a pinch.

Started using Talkspace six months ago after a friend recommended it for anxiety issues. The biggest plus is how I can message my therapist anytime and get responses without having to schedule rigid appointments. That said, sometimes the videos glitch and the app crashes which can be annoying during sessions. The pricing plans are reasonable for the services offered but I wish there was a better way to track my progress through the app. Overall I feel like it’s a supportive tool in my mental health journey, but could be smoother technically.

Two years ago I was struggling with severe anxiety that made daily life overwhelming. A friend suggested trying Talkspace because I could reach out anytime and didn’t have to leave the house. Signing up was straightforward and I was matched quickly with a licensed therapist who specializes in anxiety disorders. The ability to send messages during tough moments has been invaluable for me, especially when I couldn’t wait for scheduled appointments. I also did weekly video sessions which helped me build coping skills step by step. My only gripe is that the interface sometimes lags and uploading audio messages can be glitchy. Despite that, I genuinely feel like my mental health improved a lot thanks to this service and I’m grateful for the convenience and support.
