Mixed feelings about Opendoor
I tried using Opendoor to sell my house and it was a bit of a rollercoaster. The offer they gave me was quick but felt lower than I expected compared to local market prices. Good idea but needs improvement
I really wanted to like Opendoor because selling a house normally stresses me out. Getting an online offer was super convenient, and the platform is user-friendly. But the actual closing dragged on way longer than they said, and the amount they offered was lower than local comps suggested. I also felt a bit in the dark during the process since communication wasn’t consistent. For busy people it’s a decent option but definitely double check fees and timing before you commit.
