Detailed review after a year’s use
I’ve been on Kraken for over a year, mostly trading altcoins and using margin occasionally. The use options helped me hedge some positions smartly. Sometimes the interface feels cluttered but for serious traders it’s packed with useful tools. Customer support has been helpful when I had a stuck withdrawal last November they resolved it within two days. Also, staking rewards are decent, which is a nice bonus.

Mostly reliable with small glitches
Used Kraken for a few months now. The fees are reasonable but the withdrawal times could be faster. I had a minor issue with the 2FA once but support helped quickly.

Good exchange but mobile app glitches
I mainly use Kraken on my phone and it’s pretty convenient. But the app crashes randomly, especially when checking futures positions. Hope they fix this soon because otherwise I like their low fees and staking options.

Frustrated with KYC process
Took way too long to verify my ID, waited over a week. After that, the platform sometimes freezes during peak hours. Not impressed with customer service either.

Very secure platform
Really like Kraken's security measures like global settings lock and master key. It makes me feel safe storing my crypto here. Withdrawals always processed quickly as well.

Decent platform overall
Customer service was helpful when I had a question about margin calls. Trading fees are okay, though not the cheapest. The interface looks a bit messy but works fine once you get used to it.

Smooth trading experience
Kraken's platform is stable and offers good liquidity. I’ve been trading spot and futures here without big issues. Spreads are tight and the order execution is pretty quick. They also improved the mobile app recently, which is great.

Mixed feelings about the interface and fees
I started using Kraken six months ago mainly for crypto-to-crypto trades. Honestly, the fees can pile up if you’re a frequent trader and the maker-taker model isn’t always clear. The platform UI sometimes lags when there's heavy volume, which made me miss some good entry points. On the bright side, their market data is transparent and the order book depth is usually solid. Wish they’d fix these glitches.
