Mixed feelings overall
Hostelworld gave me lots of options and the user reviews were handy for avoiding bad spots. However, during my stay in Vienna, the hostel I booked had a maintenance issue that wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Support was slow to respond and I had to find alternative accommodation last minute. Could be better with real-time updates about hostel conditions.
