Overall solid but some recipe instructions unclear
I’ve ordered from Home Chef for about six months and mostly enjoy the experience. The ingredient quality is usually great and the meals cook quickly, which is perfect for my weeknights. However, a couple of times the recipe instructions were a bit vague, especially on timings and when to add certain ingredients. For example, the last carbonara recipe wasn’t clear on when to mix the eggs, causing me to mess it up the first try. Customer service was helpful though and provided clarifications promptly, so that’s a plus.
Reliable and tasty, minor hiccups sometimes
Home Chef is my go-to meal kit for quick dinners. The recipes are balanced and portions just right, which helps me avoid food waste. Occasionally, I’ve had issues with missing ingredients, but their support fixed it fast. the convenience and taste keep me coming back.
Good but delivery was late
Usually the meals are tasty and easy to make, but my last box got delayed by a day which was annoying. The support team replied quickly but I still had to change my dinner plans. Hopefully, the timing gets better.
Nice meal kits but delivery windows too narrow
I like the idea and the food quality from Home Chef, but the delivery windows have been frustrating. Last two times I had to rearrange my entire evening just to be home for the box. They do a good job with fresh ingredients and clear recipes but the timing needs to improve for busy people like me.
Good food but pricey
Enjoyed the meals, though a bit expensive for weekly use.
