I had a major issue with pipeline failures last week and their support took over 48 hours to get back to me. Meanwhile, my team was stuck waiting and losing valuable hours. Not great when you’re on a tight deadline.

Great all-in-one platform for projects
I manage several software projects and switched to GitLab last year. The single application for version control, CI pipelines, and issue tracking saves me tons of time switching contexts. Plus, the automated testing integration caught bugs early before deployment, which really boosted our delivery confidence. Their group-level permissions are also very granular, so I can set roles without hassle. GitLab lets our small team collaborate efficiently even when remote.

Love GitLab’s all-in-one setup
GitLab has everything my team needs from source code management to deployment pipelines all integrated. The interface is clean and the built-in security scans give extra peace of mind.

Efficient issue tracking and automation
GitLab’s issue boards keep my team organized and the automation saves us hours weekly. Only minor gripe is occasional lag in the web UI, but nothing major.

Mixed feelings about merge request reviews
The merge request system is powerful but can be overwhelming for junior devs. We had several instances where approvals got delayed because reviewers missed notifications. On the plus side, the integrated code quality checks help catch bugs early. I wish notifications were more customizable though because our team is big and sometimes it’s just too noisy. Still, the automation features and pipeline monitoring definitely improved our delivery.

Strong CI/CD but docs need work
GitLab’s continuous integration is fast and customizable which is great for our microservices architecture. Setting up pipelines to deploy to AWS was straightforward once I figured out the syntax. However, the documentation could be more beginner-friendly as I spent hours hunting down answers for runner configurations. Support chat was helpful but slow during peak hours.

Good integration but UI could improve
I like how GitLab integrates with our existing tools, and the version control is solid. However, the interface sometimes feels cluttered, which slows down new team members learning it.

Super smooth CI workflows
I’ve been using GitLab for about a year now and the CI/CD pipelines run flawlessly every time. It’s saved me tons of time in deployment and really streamlined my team's process.

Powerful tools with minor hiccups
I appreciate how GitLab bundles project management and CI/CD in one place. The auto DevOps feature saved us tons of manual setup time. Occasionally, the UI freezes when switching branches, but that’s a small annoyance. Support was responsive when I reported the bug, so I’m hopeful it’ll get fixed soon.

Complete DevOps platform that works
We migrated our entire development workflow to GitLab six months ago and haven’t looked back. The merge request reviews, issue tracking, and the automation pipelines all work smoothly. I especially appreciate the Kubernetes integration for our deployments. Though setting up runners was a bit tricky at first, their docs and community helped a lot. it’s boosted our release speed and reduced errors.

Reliable for DevOps workflows
Been using GitLab for about a year now with my dev team, and honestly it's made our CI/CD pipeline way smoother. The integration with Kubernetes is super helpful, and the issue tracking keeps everyone on the same page without juggling multiple tools. Had a small hiccup with runner setup, but their docs and support chat helped me fix it quickly.
