Okay but expected better

I played a Gibson Les Paul Studio in the store and liked the feel, but the finish looked less refined than I thought for the price. Sound was decent but not outstanding. Probably good for beginners but not for pros.

Great tone but shipping was slow

I ordered a vintage-style SG two months ago for my band gigs. The guitar's tone is exactly what I wanted, really rich and warm with that classic vibe. However, the shipping took almost three weeks longer than promised, which was frustrating since I needed it for an upcoming show.

Beautiful guitar, minor issues

My Gibson acoustic arrived with a small finish scratch, was a bit annoying. Support was helpful though and offered a partial refund. Sound and playability are fantastic, so I’m mostly happy.

Great guitar but pricey

I got the Gibson SG for practice and small shows, and it sounds fantastic with my amp setup. However, the price was a bit steep for my budget compared to some other brands. Still, the quality and tone make it worth it if you can afford to invest in a good instrument.

Good quality but pricey

Bought an acoustic last month. The wood quality feels solid and the strings sound clear, but the price felt steep compared to other brands. Still, I’m happy with how it plays.

Exceptional tone and craftsmanship

I picked up a Gibson Les Paul Standard about six months ago and it's been my go-to guitar for both studio sessions and live gigs. The neck feels just right for my hands, and the pickups deliver that classic warm, rich tone Gibson is famous for. I appreciate the attention to detail in the finish and the hardware, which has held up perfectly despite frequent touring. Customer support also helped me quickly with a minor setup question, which really impressed me.

Outstanding guitar quality

Picked up a Gibson Les Paul Traditional last month and it’s seriously impressive. The build quality is flawless and the tone is rich and versatile, great for blues and rock. Setup was perfect out of the box, and it stays in tune throughout long gigs. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a professional-grade instrument.

Smooth tone, beautiful design

Just got my Gibson J-45 and it’s everything I hoped for. The acoustic tone is warm and full, perfect for both strumming and fingerpicking. The finish is stunning and it feels very sturdy yet comfortable to hold. Definitely a guitar I’ll keep for years.

Great for recording and live

I’ve been using Gibson guitars for a couple years now, mostly the Les Paul and SG models. They handle recording sessions really well, especially with the rich sustain and clear mids. Live shows benefit from their reliable tuning stability too. Sometimes I wish the weight was a bit lighter but that’s a minor thing compared to the overall quality.

Smooth buying experience

Ordering my Gibson acoustic online was really smooth and the delivery came fast. The guitar was well-packaged and sounded amazing right away. Only tiny gripe is the manual could be more detailed, but overall very pleased.

Mixed feelings on the new model

The new Gibson Explorer I ordered has a killer look and plays fine, but I noticed some minor fret buzz that I wasn’t expecting at this price point. I’m debating whether to send it back or get it adjusted locally since support was a bit slow to respond. It’s a solid guitar otherwise, just a bit frustrating out of the box.

Top-notch guitars for serious players

I’ve tried guitars from several brands but Gibson’s attention to sound and playability really stands out. My Les Paul Classic has excellent fretwork and the pickups deliver that signature growl I was searching for. It’s a bit pricey but well worth the investment if you want a quality instrument that lasts.
