Interface good but ads get annoying fast

I’ve been using Crunchyroll off and on for a couple years, mostly to catch the latest dubbed episodes. The content is really solid and updated fast which keeps me coming back. But honestly the ads have become way too frequent lately, even with a few-minute episode you can get 3 or more breaks which interrupts the flow a lot. I tried the premium trial again but the price feels steep just to avoid ads. Also the mobile app sometimes crashes randomly during playback, which is a pain when I’m commuting. Support answered my ticket but the fix took several days, kinda frustrating. I’m hoping they smooth these problems out soon because it’s still my go-to for anime despite the hiccups.
