Fees are minimal, pretty decent
No hidden fees for ATM withdrawals most of the time, which is pretty nice. Wish the budgeting tool was a little more detailed but for free banking, it works.

Good overall experience
I started using Varo recently and so far it’s been smooth. Early deposits are a plus and no nonsense fees.

Decent digital bank with minor flaws
I switched from a traditional bank because I wanted to avoid fees and branches. Varo delivers on fee-free transactions and early paycheck deposits, which fit my lifestyle well. The mobile app is mostly user-friendly, though it could use some improvements in budgeting features and better real-time notifications. Occasionally the app logs me out unexpectedly, which is annoying when I’m in the middle of something. Still, I’m happy overall and plan to keep using Varo for everyday banking.

Mostly good but some glitches
I like how Varo gives early access to my paycheck, which is super helpful. The app sometimes lags when I try to deposit checks though, so that’s annoying. Customer support was okay but slow to respond last time I reached out.

Good but customer service needs work
I’ve been with Varo for close to a year now. The early direct deposit feature is great and really helped me when switching jobs. The app itself runs smoothly most days, and I like the automatic savings tools they offer. But once I had an issue with my account being frozen after a suspicious login, and getting support was a hassle. It took almost two days to get it resolved, which was stressful. I think their customer support still needs some improvement to match the convenience they advertise.
