I've been wanting a VPN that doesn't complicate things, and TunnelBear fits just right. It’s very beginner-friendly and keeps my browsing private on coffee shop Wi-Fi. However, I wish they had more options for customizing the connection or protocols, which other VPNs I tried offer. Still, for basic use, it’s reliable and the monthly fee feels fair.

TunnelBear is pretty user-friendly and the security features are solid, but sometimes the connection drops unexpectedly, especially late at night. That was annoying during a couple of video calls. The app's design and bear theme are charming though. I hope they fix stability soon to make it perfect.
