Useful but some payout estimates off
I used their social security benefits calculator, which was pretty close but slightly off compared to the official SSA website. Their mortgage advice was really good, and the interface is easy to navigate. Just wish the estimates were a tiny bit more accurate for planning purposes.

Mostly helpful but some tax tips unclear
I’ve been using SmartAsset mainly for their tax calculators and retirement planning tools. The mortgage calculator was spot on, and the detailed guides really helped me understand some complex deductions this year. However, I found a couple of their tax articles a bit confusing, especially around the new tax credits for 2024. I wish they updated those sections more often or provided clearer examples tailored to different states. Still, overall it’s been a solid resource for personal finance decisions.
