Good basics but limited investment advice
SmartAsset helped me get a good grasp on budgeting and mortgage options, which was great when I was buying a house. But when I tried to get into their investment sections, I didn’t find much depth or actionable advice. It felt a bit generic compared to other sites I’ve used. Still, their calculators saved me a lot of guesswork, so I’d say it’s decent for beginners.
