Useful but performance can lag
Our team depends on Retool to build internal apps quickly, and it mostly delivers. The interface is clean and connecting to MongoDB is smooth. That said, when we scale up the data or add many components on one page, the app sometimes feels sluggish, which slows down testing. Also, the learning curve for advanced features like custom components was a bit steep for some folks. Despite that, it beats building from scratch by a mile and customer support is helpful when we hit snags.
