I switched to Replit after trying several online IDEs. The multi-language support and easy sharing are definite pluses. However, I noticed the terminal sometimes disconnects abruptly during longer runs which messes with debugging. Also, the free tier’s CPU limits can be frustrating for heavier apps. Still, the community templates and built-in hosting options are quite handy for rapid prototyping.

Really smooth coding experience
I've been using Replit for about six months now, mainly for Python projects and quick JavaScript testing. The live collaboration feature is super handy when working on group assignments, and the instant feedback with no setup saves me loads of time. Their cloud environment rarely lags, which makes debugging on the fly way less painful.

Great for collaboration
I used Replit for a group school project last semester. The real-time collaboration feature made it easy to code together even when we were remote. The chat within the IDE helped us coordinate without needing extra apps.

Mostly great but lagged during peak hours
I’ve been on Replit for about six months now, primarily for Python and JavaScript projects. The interface is clean and easy to use but sometimes the IDE gets laggy during evenings when lots of students log on. I especially appreciate the instant preview for web dev projects which saves a lot of time. Support was helpful when I had issues with persistent environment settings not saving correctly.

Great platform but could improve UI
I started using Replit to teach coding basics to my students remotely, and it's been a solid tool for running code without any local installs. However, I found the interface a bit cluttered, especially when switching between languages in the same project. Also, sometimes the app freezes when multiple people edit simultaneously, which messes up the flow. On the upside, the support team responded quickly to my questions and helped me sort out some account glitches. I'm happy with the platform but hope for smoother collaboration features soon.

Good features but UI could be better
Replit offers a lot of functionality for free which is awesome, but I find the UI a bit cluttered when working on larger projects. The file tree sometimes lags, and the debugger isn't as intuitive as I hoped. That said, the instant run feature and multi-language support are excellent for quick testing and prototyping.

Excellent for remote coding sessions
Used Replit during a remote hackathon and it worked flawlessly. The ability to share my workspace and see live edits from teammates made collaboration effortless. The platform handled our multi-language stack with no issues, and the built-in chat kept communication tight without leaving the site. I also liked how easy it was to fork projects and experiment without messing up originals. it made a normally stressful event much smoother.

Mostly solid but had some sync issues
I appreciate how easy it is to jump into Replit for coding in various languages. The UI is well-designed, and the live collaboration really sets it apart. Though once or twice, my changes didn’t sync properly in group projects, which caused some confusion. Customer support responded fairly quickly to help resolve it.

My favourite online IDE by far
I’ve tried tons of online code editors but keep coming back to Replit. What I love is how it handles multiple languages without extra setup and the instant preview feature for web projects is a lifesaver. Last week I was able to debug a tricky JavaScript app with my friends simultaneously thanks to the collaborative environment. The interface is clean and has keyboard shortcuts that speed things up, and even the free tier is generous compared to others. Definitely recommending it to fellow devs who want a hassle-free cloud IDE.

Perfect for teaching beginners
I teach coding to high schoolers and Replit is my go-to tool. Setting up accounts and sharing projects is so simple, plus the multi-language support lets my students experiment freely. The interactive console and instant feedback really help them grasp programming basics faster.
