Solid gear but website glitches
I enjoy shopping at REI, especially their outdoor apparel. However, the site crashed a couple of times when I tried to check out, which was frustrating. Customer service was helpful once I reached them, but that glitch made me hesitate to order big items again soon.

Mixed feelings about their gear selection
I ordered a pair of trail running shoes and a hydration pack. The shoes were great, really comfy and perfect for muddy trails. But the hydration pack arrived with a broken zipper, and it took a few rounds with customer service to get a replacement. They finally sent one out, but the whole process was a hassle and delayed my trip prep.
