Mixed feelings on search results

The photos are definitely high quality but sometimes the search results seem random or unrelated. I wish there was an option to filter by photo orientation more precisely. Still, the free aspect is great for my small projects.

Reliable and full stock photos

I’ve been relying on Pexels for my marketing materials for over two years now. Their collection is vast and the search interface is very intuitive, which helps me find specific themes fast. One time I needed a last-minute photo for a client pitch and was able to pull a perfect shot in minutes without any attribution hassle. Occasionally, some categories could use more fresh content but the overall experience is great. Definitely a solid resource for freelancers and agencies alike.

Convenient and varied content

The platform has a great mix of photos and videos, perfect for my freelance designs. I especially like how I don’t have to credit photographers, which saves time. Occasionally, I wish there was more diversity in certain niche categories.

Good occasional bugs

Images are sharp and licensing is clear but sometimes the site glitches when switching between video and photo search modes.

Perfect for quick projects

Pexels saved me a ton of time on my last campaign. The search filters worked well and the free license is super clear. I found exactly what I needed in minutes without worrying about copyright hassles.

Mostly great but needs better tagging

I've been using Pexels for over a year now for blog visuals. The image quality and abundance of free content are fantastic, especially for commercial use. However, sometimes I get frustrated when the tags don’t quite match the images, making my search longer. It’d be much smoother if the categories were a bit more organized, maybe with user feedback or better AI tagging. Still, the no-attribution policy is a big plus for fast-paced projects like mine.

Disappointed by missing metadata

Downloaded several photos without photographer info which feels a bit off since I like giving credit where it’s due. Also, some files took way longer to load than expected, which was annoying on a tight deadline.

Great images but UI glitch

I love the photo variety here but sometimes the site freezes when I try to download several pics at once.

Good quality, minor delay

Photos are top-notch but loading times for some categories were a bit slow during peak hours.

Useful but inconsistent downloads

Mostly love Pexels for free stock photos. However, twice I experienced corrupted files after download and had to try again. Support replied eventually but it took a day and slowed down my workflow.

Highly recommend for content creators

I use Pexels almost daily to find royalty-free photos and videos for social media posts. It’s reliable and the media quality has never let me down. Plus, downloading is super easy and the site never asks for unnecessary permissions.
