Excellent gear for professionals
As a wedding photographer, I rely heavily on Canon’s 70-200mm f/2.8 lens paired with my 5D Mark IV. The autofocus tracking on moving subjects is incredibly reliable even in dim venues. Last month I shot a high-profile event with tricky lighting and the images came out crisp with minimal noise. The battery life also held up better than my previous setups, which saved me from carrying extra gear. Definitely a trusted combo for serious pros.
Good but app has issues
The camera itself delivers nice photos but the Canon Camera Connect app crashes often on my phone. Makes transferring files a pain sometimes. Wish they'd fix that soon because wireless transfer is a huge plus for me.

Mixed feelings on the new mirrorless model
I recently upgraded to the Canon EOS R5 and while the image quality and video features are outstanding, I encountered some hiccups with overheating during longer shoots. It’s frustrating when you’re in the middle of a session and the camera suddenly stops. Customer service was responsive but it took a few days to sort out. Still, I appreciate the sharp detail and dynamic range this camera delivers once you get past those quirks.
