VPN worked but app crashed often

Pretty solid security package
McAfee keeps me protected on my laptop and phone simultaneously. The VPN never really lags and blocks trackers well. One time I contacted support about a billing question and they got back to me the same day, which I appreciated. The only gripe is that the app’s notifications pop up a bit too often, feels spammy sometimes. Still, I trust their security more than some competitors I’ve tried.

Mostly good, minor VPN quirks
VPN speeds are generally solid but sometimes drop unexpectedly. The Kill Switch feature helped me avoid leaks once, which was great. Support was helpful though I wish the app was less clunky.

Good overall but app could improve
McAfee’s protection is solid, I haven’t had any virus issues since switching. The VPN is stable, but sometimes the app freezes when switching servers which is annoying. Also the dashboard looks a bit outdated. Customer support helped me troubleshoot though, so not a dealbreaker. For the price, I’d say it’s a good value but hope they update their software UI soon.

Good security mix but interface isn’t perfect
Using McAfee for both antivirus and VPN for a couple months now. The antivirus engine is thorough and didn’t slow down my PC much, which was nice. VPN helps when I travel and want to avoid geo-restrictions on streaming sites. However, I find their app interface a bit confusing at times with too many options crammed in one screen. Would prefer a cleaner design or some tutorials to help new users.
