Really enjoy automated investing

Mixed feelings about M1
I like the automated investing feature but the order execution can be slow sometimes. Had a trade delayed by a few minutes which cost me a bit. The portfolio customization tools are quite handy though.

Reliable but not perfect
I switched to M1 a few months ago because I wanted a platform that offered automated investing and fractional shares. Mostly good experience

Solid but had some hiccups
I started using M1 about a year ago after switching from another broker. The no-commission trades and automated portfolio management were big draws for me. However, there were a couple of times when the app showed incorrect portfolio values during volatile days, which made me nervous. I contacted support and they explained it was a data sync issue and fixed it within a day. Also, the tax forms are clear and easy to download, which I appreciated come tax season. Despite some glitches, I think M1’s tools are strong for both active and hands-off investors.
