Almost perfect for our workflow
Linear has pretty much everything we need to manage our engineering projects efficiently. The automatic issue prioritization is a big time saver and helps us focus on what’s urgent without digging through lists. One thing I wish was better is the notification settings they can get overwhelming if you don’t fine-tune them right away. Still, customer support was quick to help me configure those, so that made a difference.
Feature-rich but a Bit Overwhelming
I’ve been using Linear for about a year with our product team and while the customization options are impressive, it took time to get used to all the settings. Setting up workflows and custom fields was a bit overwhelming initially. On the bright side the performance is solid and syncing between desktop and mobile works well now. The recent addition of cycle tracking helped monitor our sprints better than before. Support helped us configure integrations which improved adoption. It’s definitely a powerful tool but expect some learning curve.
Great features but some UI issues
I've been using Linear for about six months with my dev team and really appreciate how smooth the issue tracking is. The sprint planning tools save us loads of time, and the integration with GitHub works well. That said, the UI can feel a bit cluttered when handling lots of tasks at once, and sometimes the mobile app lags. Hoping for some updates soon to fix those small annoyances.
Nice but Needs Tighter Integrations
Linear has a lovely interface and creating projects is straightforward. I wish the integrations with GitHub and CI tools were deeper so we could automate more. Also sometimes loading times spike unexpectedly which slows things down. Still it’s a solid choice for organizing work.
Great Features But Some Glitches
I’ve been using Linear for six months now managing multiple projects with my engineering team. The issue tracking and project planning tools are really powerful and customizable, which helps keep everything organized. However there were cases where syncing delays occurred which messed up our timelines a bit. The customer support responded promptly but it took a couple of weeks to fully resolve those bugs. Still overall a strong tool and I’m hopeful the reliability will get better.
Pretty good so far
Happy with basic features.
