Convenient but needs improvement
I appreciate the quick account setup and no physical branches is actually a plus for me. Payments process fast but occasionally the app freezes during login, which makes me worry about security. Still, better than my old bank.

Simple, fast, some quirks
Opening a loan through KakaoBank was straightforward and the approval was quick. The interest rate is competitive too. Only gripe is limited customer support hours which can be tricky if you get stuck outside business times.

Mostly solid experience
Started using KakaoBank last year for easier bill payments and it's been mostly solid. The app is user-friendly and the notifications help me stay on top of my spending. One thing though, I ran into a minor issue with currency conversion fees when sending money internationally, which caught me off guard. Customer service was friendly but the resolution took a couple of days. Hoping they improve on that.
