Itch.io is hands down the best place to find experimental and indie games. The community is really supportive and developers can upload whatever they want with no hassle. I especially like the game jam sections, discovered some gems there.

The variety is solid and I love supporting small devs. But sometimes the payment confirmation takes ages and I’m left wondering if my purchase went through. Also, no desktop app means I’m stuck using browser only.

I’ve been using itch.io for about six months now and have discovered tons of quirky games you won’t find anywhere else. The pay-what-you-want pricing is great and developers get fair cuts. Only wish multiplayer games had better matchmaking features.
