Convenient but check order execution times
I like Fidelity’s full investment options and tools for portfolio tracking, and their commission structure is competitive. I did notice though that some of my limit orders took longer than expected to fill, especially during volatile market days. The educational webinars were a nice bonus and actually helped me understand options trading basics better. I’d say it’s a good choice if you want a mix of DIY investing and some support, but just watch out for order execution delays now and then.
Mixed feelings about Fidelity’s app
The app has a clean design and the research reports are quite helpful. But sometimes the app crashes or logs me out unexpectedly which can be annoying during active trading hours. I reached out to support and they acknowledged the bugs but no fix yet. I hope these glitches get sorted soon because otherwise it’s a decent platform for balancing long-term and active trades.

Helpful tools but order delays
I appreciate how full the portfolio management tools are; helped me track my diverse holdings well. However, on a few occasions, my market orders executed slower than expected during peak hours which was frustrating when trying to lock in prices. The educational content is really well put together though, made me a bit more confident in stock selection.
