Useful but ads can be annoying

I've been on Facebook since college and mostly love how it keeps me connected with old friends and family far away. The groups feature is a huge plus, especially for local events and buying/selling stuff. But lately, the number of ads has skyrocketed, and some are really irrelevant which ruins the feed experience. Also, I had a weird issue with account verification that took a few days to fix, which was frustrating. Still, the platform’s reach and community feel keep me coming back.

Mostly good but some glitches

I've been using Facebook for years to keep in touch with friends and family, especially during the pandemic. The news feed algorithm sometimes shows repetitive posts which gets annoying, and the app crashes occasionally on my phone. However, I really like the groups feature where I connect with local hobbyists, and the marketplace has helped me sell a few things easily. Support was slow to respond when I had an account issue, but they eventually sorted it out.

Good way to stay updated

I use Facebook for news and local events, and the live videos feature is pretty cool. Sometimes the app lags on my phone though.

Good for keeping in touch

I use Facebook mainly to chat with family overseas and join community groups. Sometimes the ads get a bit too frequent, but overall it helps me stay connected. The messaging feature is reliable and easy to use.

Good for networking but needs better moderation

I rely on Facebook to promote my small business and connect with customers. The pages feature is great for marketing, and the insights help track engagement. However, I’ve noticed quite a few fake accounts and spam messages lately, which makes managing interactions harder. I reported some posts and it took a while for them to be removed. Also, the algorithm sometimes buries important comments under irrelevant ones which is frustrating. Despite these hiccups, Facebook remains my go-to platform for online community building.
