Reliable data but network delays hurt user experience
Etherscan has been my primary blockchain explorer for Ethereum transactions for well over two years now. I appreciate the granular transaction details it offers and the ability to verify smart contract source codes. However, during moments of Ethereum network congestion, the site often slows considerably or even times out, which is really annoying when you need to confirm a transaction quickly. I’ve also wished their analytics dashboards offered more customizable views or real-time charts, as the current ones are a bit basic. Still, for anyone serious about Ethereum data analysis, this remains one of the most trustworthy tools out there, despite some performance hiccups.
Confusing sometimes
Site info is good but UI can be puzzling.
Mixed feelings about Etherscan
I've been using Etherscan for over a year to track my various wallet activities and smart contracts. The depth of data is impressive and the ability to see internal transactions and token transfers is invaluable. However, the site occasionally gets overwhelmed during high network congestion, loading pages slowly or timing out, which can be frustrating when you need quick confirmations. Also, their charts and analytics tools feel somewhat basic and could use more customization options. Despite these drawbacks, I keep coming back because no other explorer shows Ethereum data as comprehensively as Etherscan does.
Good but could be faster
Data is usually accurate, but pages sometimes lag when traffic spikes.
Data sometimes lags
Useful but data updates lagged a few times.
