Mixed feelings about buyer protection

I bought a rare collectible and it arrived damaged. The return process was a headache and took much longer than I expected. I appreciate the platform’s buyer protection but in practice, dealing with the seller and support felt frustrating. Might still use eBay but more cautiously now.
