Mixed feelings on safety
I appreciate the community vibe but felt a bit uneasy with the vague profile info of one host in Berlin. The app needs better verification to feel safer especially for solo female travelers like me.

Decent but unreliable replies
Sent requests to several hosts in Barcelona but only half responded. Finally found a place but the delay made planning tough. Wish the messaging was more reliable.
