Mixed results with email marketing

I use Kit for my freelance business and while the email templates are nice, the automation features can be confusing at times. Setting up conditional workflows was not as straightforward as I expected, and it took a few tries to get my sequence working right. Also, the integration with my lead capture forms didn’t sync immediately which cost me some leads. On the plus side, the customer support was patient and guided me through fixes. Not bad but not perfect either.

Mixed feelings on automation tools

I started using Kit about six months ago to streamline my email campaigns. The customizable templates do save me time, but I often have to tinker with the automation settings because they don’t always trigger when I expect. Customer engagement reports are helpful but sometimes lag behind real-time data by a day or two. it’s decent for small businesses but could improve on responsiveness and integrations with CRMs.
