Disappointed with cleanliness

Booked a room for a weekend getaway but was pretty let down. The carpet in the room was stained, and the bathroom didn’t seem properly cleaned. Tried reaching out to front desk but they seemed overwhelmed and not very helpful. Expected better for the price.
