Best resource for used cars

Nice site but some slow updates
Mostly I found Cars.com useful for checking out different makes before visiting dealers. The search filters work well and the reviews are detailed. Sometimes the listings take a while to get updated though so a car I was interested in was gone by the time I called.

Fantastic tool for buying my first car
I was totally overwhelmed buying my first car but Cars.com made the whole process way easier. I could see prices from multiple dealers, read real owner reviews, and compare features side by side.
