Helpful but some outdated listings
I spent a few weekends browsing on Cars.com looking for a reliable sedan under 10K. The extensive reviews and buyer guides really helped me understand what to expect from different models. However, I noticed that some listings were stale and the cars weren’t actually available anymore. It would be great if they updated the stock more often but overall it was a solid place to start hunting.
Solid site with minor flaws
I've used Cars.com twice now when looking for a family car and it’s been mostly great. The search and filter features are well designed and I like how they show dealer ratings alongside prices. One thing though, some vehicles show up as available but turned out to be sold already when I called. That part is annoying but not a dealbreaker given the rest of the site’s usefulness.
Helpful and simple
Easy to use and find cars nearby.
Good but needs faster updates
Listings aren’t always accurate.
Convenient but some outdated posts
Useful platform for browsing cars but occasionally the listings aren’t current, which wastes time. Still good overall for quick price checks.
Good for comparing prices
I liked how easy it was to compare similar cars from different dealers in my area. The photos and vehicle history reports gave me confidence. The only minor issue was some dealers hadn’t updated their inventory promptly, so a few cars were already sold.
Good but could be smoother
Found a decent car fast but the site lagged a bit on mobile.
Great details but some glitches
I used Cars.com to find a used SUV last month and found the filtering options really handy for narrowing down by mileage and year. The site had tons of listings and dealer reviews helped me choose where to go. Only thing that bugged me was the app crashed a few times while I was comparing prices. Still, it saved me a lot of time going through local dealers.
