I’ve been a subscriber since March and the quality of analysis, especially on the MLB side, is fantastic. The writers are knowledgeable and passionate which really shows. My only frustration is occasional loading delays on some articles and the video player freezing during interviews. Support was responsive but the glitches do interrupt the experience sometimes.

I’ve been using The Athletic mostly for their NBA coverage and the depth is solid. The long-form articles and podcasts really give me insights I don’t get elsewhere. That said, sometimes the app UI feels a bit clunky when I’m trying to navigate between stories quickly.

I adore how The Athletic goes beyond just scores and headlines. The investigative reports on player trades and contract details are super interesting. However, I’ve noticed the mobile app can be slow to load and sometimes logs me out unexpectedly, which is annoying when I’m on the go. The desktop site works perfectly, so I mostly stick to that. I hope they focus on fixing these bugs soon because the content alone is amazing.

The Athletic’s exclusive interviews are usually insightful, though I find a few pieces overhyped. The deep dives on NFL games help me understand strategic decisions better. However, the subscription price feels a bit high for casual fans who might not use all the content. Customer service resolved my billing issue quickly, which was a plus. Still, the value depends on how hardcore you are about following sports.
