Good tool for online sellers
Been using Skrill for six months to accept payments on my Etsy store. Setting it up was straightforward and payouts reach my bank without issues. The prepaid card linked to the wallet is a nice bonus for everyday spending.
Good but some delay issues
Transactions mostly work smoothly, but once I had a delay in receiving funds that lasted two days. Customer support responded quickly, though, so that helped. I’d recommend checking your transfer status regularly just in case.
Fees too high sometimes
Fees are annoying when transferring money.
Fast transfers but watch fees
Transfers are speedy but watch out for the conversion fees.
Smooth transactions, minor fee quirks
Skrill handles my e-commerce payouts well, though sometimes the currency conversion fees catch me off guard. Customer service is decent but could be quicker. I’m satisfied with how easy it is to integrate with my store.
Generally solid but support could improve
I’ve been using Skrill for about a year mainly for my freelance payments. The platform supports multiple currencies which is great since I work with clients abroad. Once I needed help with KYC verification because my ID upload wasn’t accepted. Support took three days to respond properly and it was a bit frustrating. Still, after that they cleared up everything, and the wallet’s interface is straightforward to use for managing balances and withdrawals.
Mostly good with occasional hiccups
Using Skrill for online purchases and sending money to friends abroad has been mostly hassle-free. Sometimes the app glitches and I have to restart it, which gets annoying. Their customer support is helpful but a bit slow to respond. Still, convenient overall especially for managing multiple currencies.
