Great budgeting tool overall
I’ve used Plum for about four months and it’s definitely helped improve my saving habits. The automatic savings feature makes it easy to set aside money without thinking. I also like how it breaks down my spending into useful categories and sends weekly summaries. One small annoyance is the app sometimes takes a bit to sync my latest bank transactions, but otherwise it’s been reliable. Customer support replied quickly when I asked about increasing my savings limit. a smart tool for budgeting and saving.
Mostly solid but limits annoy me
I like Plum for tracking my spending and the automated savings are nice. The interface feels clean and it gave me some good insights on where I overspend. Only thing is the savings caps on free plan are a bit restrictive, I wish they were more flexible.
Easy to use app
App is simple and helps save money.
Good features with minor glitches
The savings automation is super useful and the budgeting tips are practical. Sometimes the app crashes when I try to check recent transactions, which messes up my review sessions. Also wish the notifications were more customizable since I get too many alerts sometimes. Other than that, it’s helped me build better money habits over the last 3 months.
Convenient but interface cluttered
I appreciate how Plum pulls info from multiple bank accounts in one place and automatically picks how much to save weekly. But honestly, the dashboard feels a bit cluttered too many charts and offers get distracting. I would prefer a simpler layout focusing on just the essentials. Still, it nudges me to save more consistently than before.
Great app but took time to sync correctly
I signed up last November and had some trouble linking my Chase and Wells Fargo accounts at first, which was frustrating. Customer support was helpful after a couple of days but it slowed me down. Once connected, the insights on my spending patterns really helped cut unnecessary expenses. The automated savings feature nudged me to save about $150 a month without really feeling it. still worth it but syncing needs improvement.
Good but watch out for spending analysis delays
I started using Plum about six months ago after a friend recommended it. Saving money automatically without thinking about it was a big deal for me, especially with my irregular income. The weekly roundup of my spending is helpful to see where my money goes. However, sometimes the spending categories update with a delay of a couple of days, which throws off my budgeting a bit. Besides that, the educational tips in the app helped me avoid impulsive purchases recently. Support responded fast when I had questions about linking a new credit card too.
