I've been using Orca for over six months now and it's been pretty solid overall. The UI is super clean and easy to navigate even for someone new to DeFi. I especially appreciate how quick swaps happen with minimal gas fees, really helps when the market moves fast. Sometimes the liquidity pools are a bit shallow for less popular tokens, but for major pairs it works flawlessly. Customer support helped me once with a stuck transaction and they responded within a few hours, which was nice.

Unreliable transaction confirmations
I’ve had multiple swaps get stuck 'pending' for over 30 minutes despite Solana network being fine. Tried refreshing and even re-logging with no luck. Support just gave generic advice about network congestion but didn’t help. This happened twice last week which made me lose confidence in the platform for urgent trades. Hoping they fix their transaction handling soon or I’ll have to move to another DEX.

Good but some bugs

Okay but support is slow
Used Orca for swapping tokens during a pump. The trades went through quick but when I had an issue with staking rewards, customer support took over a day to respond. Felt a bit ignored and had to mess around with the app on my own.

Slippage issues often here

Decent but risky liquidity pools
I started providing liquidity on Orca a few months ago hoping to earn some yield. The process is straightforward, and the fees are low compared to other DEXes on Solana. However, I noticed that impermanent loss hit me harder than expected during a sudden price drop in one of my pools. Also, the staking dashboard lacks detailed analytics, so it’s tough to track exact returns over time. I’d say it’s decent for quick trades but maybe not the best for long-term liquidity providers who want detailed insights.
