I've tried to contribute and clean up some metadata on MusicBrainz but the editing process can be confusing. Also, some entries lack basic info like release dates or proper artist credits. It feels like a mix of great data and user errors. For example, I found multiple releases of the same album under slightly different titles with no clear way to merge them. The community is active but sometimes slow to respond to edits, which makes it hard to keep my library perfectly tagged. If they streamline their editing workflow and improve data verification, this could be my favorite music database.
