Budget tracking works, mostly
Been using Mint for about eight months now and the spending category breakdowns are genuinely useful, I finally know how much I'm bleeding on restaurants every month. Only gripe is that it keeps miscategorizing my Costco runs as "Entertainment" instead of groceries, and I've had to fix it manually like a dozen times.

Solid app but categorization needs work
I've recommended Mint to a few friends because the credit score monitoring and the spending breakdown charts are genuinely helpful, especially when I was trying to cut down my dining out budget last fall. Connecting my Wells Fargo account and my Discover card was smooth and took maybe two minutes total. That said, the auto-categorization gets things wrong more than I'd like, my gym membership keeps getting filed under "Shopping" no matter how many times I recategorize it, and a recurring Hulu charge showed up as "Restaurants" once which was just bizarre. I still use it every week but I do have to babysit the categories more than I expected.

Great budgeting tool, one gripe
Been using Mint for about eight months now and honestly it's changed how I think about my spending. Having all my Chase checking, Amex, and student loans pulled into one dashboard is genuinely useful, I used to spend like 20 minutes every Sunday manually checking statements. The budget categories are pretty accurate too, it correctly tagged my Trader Joe's runs as groceries without me touching anything. The one thing that bugs me is the transaction sync can lag by a day or two sometimes, so I'll overspend in a category before Mint even shows the charge. Not a dealbreaker but I wish it was closer to real-time.

Good overview of my finances
Linked my student loan account alongside my bank and credit cards so I can see my full net worth in one spot, that alone was worth signing up. The bill reminder feature caught a payment I would've missed on my Discover card. Wish the mobile app loaded a little faster, it can lag when switching between the budget and transactions tabs.

Mostly great, a few rough edges
I've been on Mint for about six months and the automatic transaction syncing is what keeps me here, I used to spend an hour every Sunday manually logging expenses in a spreadsheet and now I just don't have to. The spending reports by category are detailed enough that I caught I was paying for two overlapping streaming subscriptions I forgot about, saved myself $15 a month right there. The one thing that genuinely bugs me is that my TD Bank connection drops every few weeks and I get a vague error message with no real explanation of what to do. Support pointed me to an FAQ that didn't actually fix anything, so I just re-link it and move on. Not a dealbreaker but would be nice if that got sorted.

Great for budgets, small annoyance
Set up my monthly budget for groceries, gas, and dining out and Mint sends me alerts when I'm getting close to the limit, which is exactly what I needed. The dashboard is clean and easy to read. My only issue is that sometimes transactions from my Wells Fargo account take 2-3 days to show up, which throws off my weekly spending check.

Helpful but ads get annoying
The credit score monitoring is a nice touch and I like that it updates every week without me doing anything. Budgeting tools are solid, I've actually stuck to my grocery budget for three months straight since I started using alerts. The constant product recommendations and loan ads in the sidebar do get in the way though.

Solid app, one connection issue
I've been tracking my budget on here for almost a year and it's made a real difference in how I manage my money, especially the monthly spending trends graph. My Capital One card keeps disconnecting though and I have to re-enter credentials every couple of weeks, which gets old fast. Everything else runs smooth.
